UPDATE!!

Just wanted to let everyone know that Sandra (my travel agent) has started to look at last minute deals that will be coming up in Feb and March. I told her to try and stay aways from Spring break (sorry Matt/Mike) and March break. As soon as I have moe info I will post again.

GIVE US YOUR INPUT!!!!

A few people have expressed that although they would come, March would not be an optimal month for them. So we wanted to let everyone know that the March date is def not set in stone. Once we start looking at prices more seriously (at the end of December or beggining of January) and if prices seem better in Feb, then we are happy to go then. The only drawback of going earlier is if the weather is not as warm. We will have to take that into consideration and do some reserach on average temps in Feb. So if anyone thinks Feb works way better for them please post a comment and let us know OR if you think its a horrible idea then let us know as well.

Also, the hotels are suggestions as well...if anyone has a hotel in mind, please also post. As the time to go away gets closer we hope we will have a place and date set in stone but for now we are very open to suggestions so pelase post away!!!

MARCH 2011

Hello friends/family!!! Winter is fast approaching and that has made me start thinking about where we are all gonna escape to! We have been talking about doing a Cuba trip and so I created this blog as a way to get feedback on what everyone wants to do. Here is what we had in mind...please give us your thoughts:

1. We are planning on doing the second last or last week in March 2011 (we are trying to avoid reading weeks/spring breaks/and march breaks)

2. There are two hotels that I am considering for us to stay in. They are both in Varadero because its closer to the airport. One is "Paradisus Varadero" (my favourite) and the other is "Iberostar Varadero". Look these up on trip advisor and let me know what you think.


We are not planning on doing any group bookings....that way if anyone wants to do last minute booking, they could.
